On Friday October 15, 2010 Kingston, Jamaica will be moved once again by The Omega Vibration – the Kingston meets Toronto Edition. Through spoken word, music, visual art and dance, a contingency of talented Canadian artistes will collaborate with some of Jamaica?s most dynamic and prolific female artists. This second staging of The Omega Vibration will treat patrons to a magical cross-cultural experience. The production will be staged at the Dance Studio Theatre at the Edna Manley College of the Visual & Performing Arts, starting at 6pm.
The Omega Vibration Kingston Meets Toronto is one of the main events on the roster for Manifesto|Jamaica?s Festival of ART?ical Empowerment being held from Thursday October 14 to Sunday October 17 on the Edna Manley Campus. According to event organizer, creative director and host, Janine
